After the park, Nathan took a quick nap and then played on the computer with his Dad and Twister.

Visit to the Park

It was such a beautiful day that we decided to take Nathan and Twister to Josey Ranch Park. It's very close to our house. It has two duck ponds, baseball and football fields, playgrounds, the library and senior center.

Nathan was born on August 27, 2006 at 28 weeks. He was 3 months early. Nathan weighed only 2 pounds, 4 ounces. With the help of the doctors and nurses at Medical Center of Plano, Nathan was given a fighting chance of survival. His tiny body had to grow and thrive without the protection of the womb. He fought very hard and after two months in the NICU, he was finally able to come home with us. We are forever grateful to everyone who helped with his fight. Today, Nathan is very healthy and growing like a weed.

Getting Ready for Bed

After Nathan's bath, Randy took him for a Superman flight around the house.

Daddy's Little Helper

Randy was working on his Talon today and Nathan decided that he needed to go outside and help him.

Yummy Fingers

Nathan loves to suck on his fingers. He has an unusual way of getting his fingers in his mouth. He twists his hand backwards and then he will suck on any finger that he can get in his mouth. His ring finger and middle finger are his favorites.

Helping Daddy

Nathan likes to help his Daddy when he is working at home.

15 POUNDS!!

Nathan is now 15 pounds. He loves to eat baby food. He's like a little bird when I feed him. He opens his mouth and will make little noises until I fill it up with baby food. Sometimes I can't shovel it in fast enough for him.

Play Date with Aunt Samantha

Nathan's Aunt Samantha came to visit him today. They both had a great time playing with each other. I see them having lots more dates in the future.

Ready for Summer

I attended my first consignment sale this weekend. I was able to purchase all of Nathan's summer clothes. Best of all, I found Nathan a blue Bumbo chair. I had been wanting to get him one and I'm so happy that I didn't have to pay retail for it. I had a great time shopping with my sisters, Jenny and Kathy. Here is Nathan enjoying his Bumbo chair.
