Olympic Days
Nathan's school had their Annual Olympic Days today. The kids had a chance to participate in many fun games. My photos are not that great because I have a new camera and I'm still learning how to use it. Also, I volunteered to help out, so I didn't have much time for photos while chasing balls, bean bags and kids.

Opening Ceremonies - All the kids lined up and filed outside. One child from each class ran around the parking lot with a paper torch.

Soccer Ball Kick

Basketball Toss - Here's Nathan cheating a little.
They also played Football Toss, jumped on mini trampolines, Shotput with beanbags, Long Jump, Tall Jump and had a Baton Relay Race.

Everyone returned to their classrooms to eat their snacks and rest. Miss Susan surprised the school by buying popsicles to help the kids cool off.
After snack, they headed back outside for more fun.

Stick Horse Races

Sack Races
They had a Wheels Race with tricycles and an Obstacle Course. Then, the kids went indoors for Tug Of War.

The kids in Nathan's class are small, so some of the kids in the 4 year old class jumped up and started helping out. But, they still lost. They gave it all they had but they were tired out.
After the games, Miss Kim hosted the metals ceremony.

This was such a fun day for the kids and parents. When I picked Nathan up from school, he was exhausted. He almost fell asleep in the car on the ride home.

Snowflakes Falling
This is another video of Nathan in Music class at school singing Snowflakes Falling. I love when his Music teacher, Miss Marilee, takes video of the kids singing.

Gaylord Texan All Decorated
After the ICE show, we walked around the hotel to enjoy all the beautiful Christmas decorations.

The giant Christmas tree in the middle of the lobby was all decorated with toys and ball ornaments. It rotated around and around. Nathan loved it.

Nathan loved all the decorations.

They had a little pond with fish that you could walk right up to.

Silly Nathan!

We found this reindeer sitting all alone, so we decided to keep him company.

"Look . . . Santa!"

There were a couple of model train displays set up that ran around the lobby. The kids loved the trains the best. Nathan and his friend, Austin, hanging out on the fence watching the trains.

The class went trick or treating to all the classrooms.

After a couple of doors, all the kids started to get the hang of it.

NICU Reunion
We attended our third NICU reunion. We love going back to the hospital to thank the doctors and nurses. We also enjoy visiting our friends we met while Nathan was in the NICU.

Nathan and Linda, Kaitlyn's Mom.

Kaitlyn's 3rd Birthday
We attended Kaitlyn's 3rd birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Kaitlyn is one of Nathan's friends from the NICU. This was Nathan's first visit to Chuck E Cheese and he loved it! It won't be our last visit.

Attempting to play skee ball.

Nathan couldn't throw the balls hard enough, so I had to stand behind him and catch the balls as they rolled back down.

Look at all the tickets that he won . . . with help from Mom and Dad.

The birthday girl, Kaitlyn, with Chuck E Cheese. She was so excited when he came over to see her. She had a celebrity moment.

Playing at the Park with Friends
We met our friend Wes at the park today along with his kids, Sabrina and Austin. Nathan had a blast playing with them. It was very humid and we were all sweaty.

Nathan loves to swing really high.

Sabrina enjoyed pushing Nathan. Her brother, Austin, doesn't like to swing.

Austin and Nathan playing together on the playground.

Nathan and Austin all sweaty from running around on the grassy hill.

Nathan always finds a flower to pick when we are outside.
