Cousin's Camp - Nathan's First Visit to McDonald's

It's been rainy the past couple of days, so we met at McDonald's for our last day of Cousin's Camp to eat lunch and play on the indoor playground. This is Nathan's first visit to McDonald's. Randy and I don't eat at McDonald's so Nathan has never been. He ate chicken nuggets and the grapes from my salad. He also stole some of Aunt Sammy's french fries.

Frisco Heritage Museum

We visited the Frisco Heritage Museum for Cousin's Day. It had lots of information on cotton growing and railroads. Nathan enjoyed the trains.

Cousins Camp - Aunt Kathy's House

This week we met over at Aunt Kathy's house for Cousins Camp. We ate our lunches outside on her newly renovated lawn furniture. The kids went swimming and they also played on the slip n' slide. Nathan took his turn down the slip n' slide. He likes to do what all the big kids are doing. He really enjoyed running through the sprinklers all along the side of it. We all had a great time.

Nathan has his swimsuit on and is ready to give it a try. Julia shows him one more time how to slide to the end.

Here is Nathan's first try down the slip n' slide.

He didn't make it all the way to the end, so he got up and walked the rest of the way down. Then, he jumped and splashed in the small pool of water at the end.

Cousins Camp - Our House

We hosted Cousins Camp at our house today. Randy is the only brother-in-law who does not work from home, so the kids can scream and play at my house and not bother anyone. The kids played in the house and then we swam in the pool. Everyone had a great time that no one wanted to leave.

Cousins Camp - Our House

We hosted Cousins Camp at our house today. We first played in the house as everyone arrived. Nathan was excited to share his toys. After lunch, we went outside to swim and play in the backyard. Jaxon had so much fun, I don't think he wanted to leave.

Cousins Camp - First Day

We had our first day of Cousins Camp today. We get together with the cousins once a week to do a project to help keep the kids busy during the summer. We take turns hosting at each others house. Aunt Jenny hosted at her house today. Our project was decorating library book tote bags. I decorated one for Nathan because he's not coordinated yet to scribble with a marker. He enjoyed playing with Jaxon's toys and petting the dogs. After eating lunch we swam in the pool. Nathan was so tired out that he fell asleep in the car on the way home, which he rarely does.
