Crazy Curly Hair

Nathan's hair gets really curly when he's sweaty from playing outside. Today he was getting some extreme lift, so we had to take some photos.

We had great weather this Memorial Day Weekend. We played outside in the backyard for most of it. Nathan enjoyed his outdoor toys. Today we got in the pool for the first time this summer. Nana, Papa and Aunt Samantha came over to swim with us. Nathan thought the water was too cold, so he just played in the backyard with his swimsuit on.

New Outside Toy - "Cozy Coupe"

Nathan LOVES to play outside. We play outside at least one time each day. We try to go out early in the morning and after dinner when it's cooler out.

Nathan has joined the "green" movement. His new car is foot powered.

Eating with a Fork

Nathan is starting to eat with a fork all by himself. We stab the food with the fork, then he will pick up the fork and put it in his mouth. He really enjoys doing it himself. He prefers this metal fork over his plastic ones. He wants to be just like Mommy and Daddy.

Camping at Cooper Lake

We went camping at Cooper Lake with the family over the weekend. There were several different sleeping arrangements. We stayed in a cabin that had a living room, eating area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and a deck over looking the lake. It also had AC & heat. We really enjoyed the cabin. Aunt Sammy stayed with us and slept on our couch. The camp grounds were beautiful with lots of trees. It had a sandy beach, playground, fishing pier and hiking trail. We didn't get a chance to fish because it was too windy on Saturday. We will have to plan another fishing trip.
