Traffic Jam

Here's Nathan playing with his Hot Wheels cars. Sometimes he lines them up on his bed rail. It looks like a big traffic jam to me.

Path of Hope

The Path of Hope is a way to honor and remember the children of the Family Teams that walk in the March for Babies. They gathered the children's name, information and pictures, then laminated them and posted them to stakes that line the March for Babies route. These signs serve as a reminder to the walkers of the reason we walk and that sadly, not every story has a happy ending. Most of all these signs serve as a small symbol of hope for a future when all babies will be born healthy and full term.

The group of women who put the signs together are known as "The Good Grief Group." Each of the women in the group have lost a baby due to prematurity and they put extra love and care into each sign.

We have walked in the March for Babies for the past three years. We have keep our Path of Hope signs and they hang in Nathan's room and they are a reminder to me of how far Nathan has come.

March of Dimes - March for Babies 2009

We had a great time at the March for Babies this year. It was wet and muddy, but we didn't let that slow us down.

Nathan Jumping & Counting

">

Nathan is learning to count. He can get to 6, then skips to 9, then kind of gets stuck in a loop. It's pretty cute.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny filled Nathan's basket and left it on the fireplace. He was so excited when he discovered it. It was full of candy filled eggs, a chocolate bunny, peeps and a book. He liked the book the best of all. Thank you, Easter Bunny!!

Spring Flowers

We planted our hanging baskets today. Nathan helped out and was very proud of having his own shovel.

Day Out with Thomas

Thomas the Train

Mommy and Nathan getting a close look at Thomas.

Daddy and Nathan watching Thomas pull out of the station.

Nathan got a Thomas tattoo on his hand. He was matching it to his Thomas the Train that he brought from home.

We all enjoyed looking at the large model train displays.
