All Tuckered Out

Nathan played extra hard today. He ended his day by listening to some music. Then, he slowly fell asleep right in the middle of the train track.

Christmas Decorations

We dragged out the Christmas decorations and got them all up with Nathan's help. He enjoyed putting the ornaments on the tree, but he loved getting all decorated up with the ribbon.

Just the Middle

This is what Nathan's lunch looked like once he was done with it today. He usually finishes off his sandwiches but some days the middle is all he wants.

After our Thanksgiving feast, Nathan needed to jam out with his cousin, Julia.

Nothing Sweeter

There's nothing sweeter for me then finding Nathan asleep on the floor in front of a book. He loves to read books before he goes to bed and some nights he just falls asleep right on the floor in the middle of book.

Nathan and Santa

Nathan's 2008 visit with Santa.

The Village for Lunch

We went to the Village for lunch with Nana and Aunt Sammy. After eating, we had to play at the tiny village and get lost in the Texas maze.

Nathan is ready to fill up your tank.

"Need a tune up?"

"How about some new tires?"

"Thank you . . . here's your bill."

Withdrawing some money from the bank.

Nathan's trying to see how tall he is at the fire station.

Peeking out the window.

The caboose can be rented for parties.

Nathan, of course, loved climbing up and down the stairs.

CHEESE!

Here's what the Texas maze looks like.

Nathan was shorter than the maze walls, so I had to chase after him, so he wouldn't get lost.

I tried to get a photo of Nathan in front of the giant Christmas tree, but he was dancing around to the music. This was the best I could do.

Gaylord Texan All Decorated

After the ICE show, we walked around the hotel to enjoy all the beautiful Christmas decorations.

The giant Christmas tree in the middle of the lobby was all decorated with toys and ball ornaments. It rotated around and around. Nathan loved it.

Nathan loved all the decorations.

They had a little pond with fish that you could walk right up to.

Silly Nathan!

We found this reindeer sitting all alone, so we decided to keep him company.

"Look . . . Santa!"

There were a couple of model train displays set up that ran around the lobby. The kids loved the trains the best. Nathan and his friend, Austin, hanging out on the fence watching the trains.

Sitting in Santa's sleigh.

The Texas Star

ICE! at the Gaylord Texan

We went to the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan today. The theme was How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

It's 9 degrees in the exhibit, so they give everyone these blue parkas to wear. They only have three sizes . . . men, women and children. Here's Nathan in his child's sized parka. I think he looks like a penguin.

It was snowing right when we entered. It was fun having the snow land in our hair. Nathan didn't know what to think of the snow.

Candy cane doorway that lead us into the slide room.

The slides were made all from ice.

Nathan loved the slides and went down several times. You would go really fast if you were sitting on your parka.

We were in there for about 45 minutes at this point. Notice how red Nathan's nose is getting.

Randy, Nathan and The Grinch.

Nathan wanted to join them for Christmas dinner.

The last room was a larger than life nativity.
