We bought Nathan a new toy over the weekend. He has finally figured out how to use it. I enjoy watching him "Jump Around". Check out the video.

Nathan's Baptism
We are very excited to announce that Nathan was Baptized today. His Aunt Kathy is his Godmother and his Papa is his Godfather. After the ceremony we went to Nathan's Nana and Papa's house to celebrate. We had an early dinner and cake. We're happy that our family could come and help us celebrate this joyous occasion.

Body Worlds
We went to the Body Worlds exhibit today at the Museum of Nature & Science in Fair Park. It was Nathan's first visit to a museum. He was a little fussy when we got there because it was his nap time. But, he finally settled down and fell asleep, so Randy and I could enjoy the exhibit.
Body Worlds is an anatomical exhibition of real human bodies. The bodies have been preserved through the process of Plastination. All of the bodies have been donated for educational purposes for use in the exhibit. I learned that it can take up to a year to transform a donated body into a plastinate.
It took us about an hour and a half to view the entire exhibit. I highly recommend it. It's very educational. The exhibit runs through the end of May.

9 Month Check Up
We went for Nathan's 9 month check up today. He weighs 15 pounds, 14 ounces. He is 26 inches tall. Nathan has been eating 3 containers of baby food, 6 tablespoons of cereal and 20 ounces of breastmilk a day. He is doing excellent and his doctor is very happy with his progress. We will return to the doctor for Nathan's 1 year check up in August.
Sleeping off his shots
