We went to the Body Worlds exhibit today at the Museum of Nature & Science in Fair Park. It was Nathan's first visit to a museum. He was a little fussy when we got there because it was his nap time. But, he finally settled down and fell asleep, so Randy and I could enjoy the exhibit.
Body Worlds is an anatomical exhibition of real human bodies. The bodies have been preserved through the process of Plastination. All of the bodies have been donated for educational purposes for use in the exhibit. I learned that it can take up to a year to transform a donated body into a plastinate.
It took us about an hour and a half to view the entire exhibit. I highly recommend it. It's very educational. The exhibit runs through the end of May.
