Homemade Baby Food
I have started to make baby food for Nathan. It makes me feel great knowing that he is eating the freshest food possible. Nathan loves it a lot. He eats way more of my homemade food than the food from Gerber. Check out the bright green color of the peas. They match the dots on his bib.

NICU Reunion
Today we attended the NICU reunion at Plano Medical Center. We had such a great time visiting with the nurses, doctors and other families who were in the NICU the same time we were. We enjoyed seeing how big all the babies have grown and how great they are all doing. It was nice to get a chance to thank all the doctors and nurses. Although, "Thank You", just doesn't seem like enough for what they have done for us. All the families had their photographs taken and were given one to take home. We are looking forward to attending again next year.

We bought Nathan a new toy over the weekend. He has finally figured out how to use it. I enjoy watching him "Jump Around". Check out the video.

Nathan's Baptism
We are very excited to announce that Nathan was Baptized today. His Aunt Kathy is his Godmother and his Papa is his Godfather. After the ceremony we went to Nathan's Nana and Papa's house to celebrate. We had an early dinner and cake. We're happy that our family could come and help us celebrate this joyous occasion.

Body Worlds
We went to the Body Worlds exhibit today at the Museum of Nature & Science in Fair Park. It was Nathan's first visit to a museum. He was a little fussy when we got there because it was his nap time. But, he finally settled down and fell asleep, so Randy and I could enjoy the exhibit.
Body Worlds is an anatomical exhibition of real human bodies. The bodies have been preserved through the process of Plastination. All of the bodies have been donated for educational purposes for use in the exhibit. I learned that it can take up to a year to transform a donated body into a plastinate.
It took us about an hour and a half to view the entire exhibit. I highly recommend it. It's very educational. The exhibit runs through the end of May.

9 Month Check Up
We went for Nathan's 9 month check up today. He weighs 15 pounds, 14 ounces. He is 26 inches tall. Nathan has been eating 3 containers of baby food, 6 tablespoons of cereal and 20 ounces of breastmilk a day. He is doing excellent and his doctor is very happy with his progress. We will return to the doctor for Nathan's 1 year check up in August.
