Nathan's First Ski Trip

Nathan was playing with these old curtain rods. He said, "I skiing, Mommy!" It's amazing how kids pick up on things. We had no idea he even knew what skiing was.

Heading Home

We had such a great weekend seeing the family. We wish we could see them more often. It was hard to say good-bye to everyone.

Super Grandpa, Laura and Nathan

Aunt Sammy and Nathan hanging out in the hotel room while I packed our bags to go home.

Side Note: While we were in the airport in White Plains heading home, we saw Richard Gere boarding a plane to D.C. We didn't have time to pull out our cameras, so you will just have to take our word for it. And YES . . . he is just as good looking in person as he is in the movies. :)

Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Super Grandpa's 90th birthday with a brunch at the Red Barn. The food was delicious and we had a great time visiting with family.

Nathan was so tired that he fell asleep during brunch.

Maritime Aquarium

We visited the Maritime Aquarium while in Connecticut. Nana, Aunt Jenny, Aunt Sammy and Great Aunt Linda joined us. We all had a great time looking at all the fish. Nathan loved playing in the children's play area. After the aquarium we walked around the corner to the Brew House for lunch.

Playing on a friendly hippo.

Giving the fish a big kiss.

We were in awe of the snow that was left over from the snow storm they had earlier in the week.

Nathan's First Ride on an Airplane

Nathan and I went to Connecticut for his Super Grandpa's 90th birthday party. This was Nathan's first time on an airplane. I packed lots of snacks and activities to occupy Nathan's attention. He was really good on the plane.

Nathan's Favorite Food

Nathan loves to eat broccoli. It's one of his favorite foods. He loves to dip it in BBQ sauce. If he ever tells me that he doesn't like broccoli, I have the pictures to prove that he loved it when he was 2 years old.

One of Nathan's favorite toys of the day is this cheap plastic little top that he got as a prize from the haircut place. He loves to watch it spin and roll around. I tried to snap a few pictures of the action!

Happy Valentine's Day

Nathan and I went to the NICU to deliver goodies for the parents. We met up with some of the other NICU Graduate parents. We always have fun seeing the other kids from the NICU and how much they have all grown. Plus, it's great to see them all healthy. One of our favorite doctors was working that day and came out to the waiting room to visit with us.

Nathan, Dr. Jain and Kaitlyn

Nathan wasn't in the mood to get his picture taken. He was very interested in the Valentine's candy and the fish in the aquarium.

When we got home from the NICU, Randy joined us and went out to lunch as a family for Valentine's Day. Nathan took a long nap once we got home. As a treat we picked up some Chinese food later on for dinner, so I didn't have to cook all day.

We had a great Valentine's Day!!
